Wooden lucet

The fork-shaped wooden lucet has been widely used since the Early Middle ages for braiding and cordmaking. The most important advantage of using a lucet for braiding-techniques is that you do not need to decide beforehand how long the cord must be. Lucets are therefore very suitable for creating short, as well as long cords. 

The Braiding lucet measures 16 x 4.5 x 1 cm and has a hole with a diameter of 0.5 cm
