This pair of Rus cloak clasps is inspired by 11th-century archaeological examples in the so-called Urnes-style. The eyelets on the edge of the clasp make hand sewing it on a garment relatively easy.
A single pair of cloak clasps can for example be used to close a robe, hood, cloak at the top front, but several pairs can also be used in a row to close tighter fitting garments, like a jerkin, dress or doublet.
A pair of Cloak Clasps – Urnes measures 6.5 x 3.2 cm. They are available in bronze and, for a surcharge, a silver plated option.

This belt is a replica based on an historical find from the late Middle Ages. It is made from high-quality vegetable-tanned leather, with a thickness of approximately 3.5 mm and a width of 1.5 cm.
