This chain divider is a detailed replica after archaeological finds from the Swedish island Öland.
Chain dividers were an important piece of female garments in Viking society. The dividers were worn in pairs on the dress, with one or more chains between them. These chains were decorated with all sorts of trinkets, jewelry, and even small household items. One could also wear a turtle brooch above the chain divider.
The Viking chain divider – Öland measures 3.7 x 3.7 cm and is available in bronze, as well as a silver-plated variant.
The listing on this page is the price for one chain divider. If you want a pair, please order two pieces.
