This buckle is modeled after a find from the Swedish viking town of Birka.
Our buckles can be used in belts, bags, clothing, armour, shoes, and all other sorts of projects. It is very important to make sure the buckle has the right width for your project, because the outer sizes of the buckle are not related to the width of the leather strap that fits the buckle. Most of our buckles have ‘matching’ belt ends.
The Viking buckle 2 cm – Type 3 is suitable for leather straps of ca. 2 cm wide, the outer dimensions are 5.5 x 3.5 cm. The buckle is available in a brass and silver coloured option.
