Description
This flower-shaped button is a replica of a 14th century historical example from France. Buttons were widely used for fastening clothing throughout history, for example in long rows to close all sorts of medieval clothing in a decorative fashion.
The eyelet on the back is 2 mm and can be attached to the fabric with some hand stitches. The button is pewter cast and measures 1.2 x 0.6 cm. On request we can supply this button in bronze for a surcharge.
