This square-shaped bag is a closely modelled after medieval examples, specifically for the 13th to 15th century.
Historically, a lot of a person’s belongings were in the pouch(es) on their belt, since pockets in clothing were not common yet. Pouches and bags were available in all sorts, colours and sizes, and were also a way of showing one’s wealth.
The Medieval Square Girdle Bag is 18 x 13 x 3 cm and is made of leather. It is available in black and brown. The belt loops on the back accommodate for belts up to 6 cm.
