Description
This semi-circular leather bag has the typical Runneberg-shape, which was popular in the 12th and 13th century.
Historically, a lot of a person’s belongings were in the pouch(es) on their belt, since pockets in clothing were not common yet. Pouches and bags were available in all sorts, colours and sizes, and were also a way of showing one’s wealth.
The Medieval Runneberg Girdle Bag measures 20 x 13 cm without belt loops and is made of leather. It is available in black and brown. The belt loops on the back accommodate for belts up to 7 cm.
