This leather Coin Purse is inspired by the medieval Geldkatze-style purses. The purse can be worn by folding it over a belt. To access the contents of the purse, one of the sliders can be pulled aside.
Historically, a lot of a person’s belongings were in the pouch(es) on their belt, since pockets in clothing were not common yet. Pouches and bags were available in all sorts, colours and sizes, and were also a way of showing one’s wealth.
The Medieval Coin Purse is made from supple leather and measures 35 x 13 cm.
