This buckle is inspired by 13th and 14th century archeological finds and is very characteristic for the high and late middle ages.
Our buckles can be used in belts, bags, clothing, armour, shoes, and all other sorts of projects. It is very important to make sure the buckle has the right width for your project, because the outer sizes of the buckle are not related to the width of the leather strap that fits the buckle. Most of our buckles have ‘matching’ belt ends.
The Medieval buckle 2 cm – Type 2 is suitable for leather straps of ca. 2 cm wide, the outer dimensions are 3.4 x 3.4 cm. This buckle is supplied with enough rivets, to attach it to the leather. The buckle is available in a brass and silver coloured option.
