This medieval aiglet was historically used for fastening and tightening all sorts of medieval clothing and armor. These aiglets are typically found at the end of laces and cords and can be attached with a small hand stitch through the four little holes at the sides. Aiglets were roughly in use from the 13th until the 17th century.
