Hexafoil annular brooch silver – medium

This common medieval brooch is manufactured after archaeological finds from France, among other countries. These brooches date back to the 13th and 14th century and were a common piece of jewellery to fasten medieval garments. The specific shape of this brooch is called a ‘hexafoil’, a shape which is often used as a decorative element in gothic architecture.
