This pair of large wooden bag frames is inspired by archaeological finds from the Viking village Hedeby/Haithabu. Bags with these wooden frames are therefore perfectly suited for Viking age bags.
Historically the wooden frames are attached to a fabric or leather bag, and a drawstring goes through the holes on the side to close the bag and carry it around, on the shoulders for example.
The Hedeby bag frame – large consists of two frames made from pine wood, measuring 30 x 3 cm.
