This leather bag is inspired by early medieval examples, ranging from ca. 700 to 1000 CE.
Historically, a lot of a person’s belongings were in the pouch(es) on their belt, since pockets in clothing were not common yet. Pouches and bags were available in all sorts, colours and sizes, and were also a way of showing one’s wealth.
The Early Medieval Girdle Bag measures 20 x 15 cm without belt loops and is made of leather. It is available in black and brown. The belt loops on top accommodate belts up to 5 cm.
