This heart-shaped cloak clasp is loosely inspired by historical examples from the middle ages and the renaissance. The openwork style of this specific cloak clasp makes hand sewing it on a garment relatively easy.
A single pair of cloak clasps can for example be used to close a robe, hood, cloak at the top front, but several pairs can also be used in a row to close tighter fitting garments, like a jerkin, dress or doublet.
