Description

This ball-shaped button is a replica of 13th and 14th century archaeological finds in Russia. Buttons were widely used for fastening clothing throughout history, for example in long rows to close all sorts of medieval clothing in a decorative fashion. 

The eyelet on the back is 2 mm and can be attached to the fabric with some hand stitches. The button is bronze cast and measures 1.5 x 0.8 cm.
